As you board the air-conditioned deluxe motor-coach to your destination, you will have an experience of a lifetime. What you can expect

After your breakfast in Madrid, you will depart for Lugo via Villacastin, Astorga and Medina del Campo. On your way you will admire the Episcopal Palace of Antoni Gaudi and Castilian Castle of La Mota. The second day of your tour will involve more sightseeing as you leave Lugo for La Coruña. You will visit the “Tower of Hercules” along the way. This is actually the last operational lighthouse in the world. As your adventure continues in the third day, you will head to Santiago de Compostela which is quite popular with pilgrims.

You visit the Cathedral as your entrance is included in the tour cost and the Obradoiro which is the main square. Rias Bajas is considered to be one of the most beautiful areas of Galicia and you will discover why as you drive to La Toja Island. You will then head to Vigo in Rias Baixas passing via Ria de Arosa and Pontevedra. On the fifth day which is the last day of the tour, you will follow the Old Silver Route you will arrive in Salamanca where one of the oldest universities in this continent is located. There are several other attractions that you will see such as the Shells House. On your way back to Madrid, you will cross the Guadarrama mountain range towards Villacastin.

Day 1: Madrid – Astorga - Lugo

Early in the morning after breakfast, you will board an air-conditioned deluxe motor-coach as you head to Astorga via Villacastin and Medina del Campo. In Astorga, you get a chance to admire the Episcopal Palace of Antoni Gaudi while in the later; you get to admire the Castilian Castle of La Mota. With a perimeter of 2266 m in circumference, the roman ramparts in Lugo where you will spend your night were declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Day 2: Lugo- A Coruña

On your second day in Galicia, you will have your breakfast and then enjoy the sights of Lugo as you head to La Coruna in the comfortable air conditioned bus. You will admire the glass house galleries as you drive along the Marine Avenue. The glass house galleries define the typical Galician architecture. Did you know that this is the home of the oldest working lighthouse in the world? You will get a chance to admire the “Tower of Hercules” lighthouse also considered as one of the world’s wonders. It is considered as the oldest since it dates back to the Roman period. Your afternoon is at leisure with an option of going on a Rias Atlas tour. You will then spend the night at your reserved hotel.

Day 3: A Coruña-Santiago de Compostela

After your breakfast at the hotel, you will board your air-conditioned motor-coach for the World Heritage Santiago de Compostela. It is a popular site for religious tourists and pilgrims especially Christians as it mark the end of the Camino de Santiago route which dates back to the Roman Empire. In the city centre, you have free entrance to the Cathedral that is dedicated to Apostle Santiago and you will also see Obradoiro which is the city’s main square. As you spend your afternoon at leisure, you have an option of exploring the narrow cobblestone streets of the city. You will spend the night at your reserved hotel.

Day 4: Santiago de Compostela - Rias Bajas - La Toja - Vigo

On your fourth day after breakfast, you will depart Santiago de Compostela for Rias Bajas which is considered to be one of the areas in Galicia that offers spectacular views. From here, you will head to the popularly known spa area known as the La Toja Island before heading to Vigo passing via Ria de Arosa and Pontevedra. Vigo is in the heart of Rias Baixas. In the afternoon, you have your own time with several options when it comes to activities. You can enjoy beautiful views of Portugal and the Mino River. You also have an option of seeing the Celtic remains on the Santa Tecla Hill when you chose the Bayona and Santa Tecla tour. Overnight will be at your reserved hotel in Vigo.

Day 5: Vigo – Salamanca- Madrid

On the last day of your Galicia tour, you will have breakfast at your hotel before you check-out. You will board your air-conditioned motor-coach driving along the Old Silver Route as you head to the world famous city of Salamanca. This route dates back to the Roman Empire. Salamanca is the home of the beautiful Plaza Mayor, the old and the new Cathedral as well as one of the continent’s oldest university not forgeting the Shells House among others. As you head back to Madrid, you will pass through Villacastin while driving through the mountain range of Guadarrama. Your tour ends when you arrive in the capital of Spain.
