Day 1: Madrid – Trujillo – Lisbon
Leave Plaza de España, 7, travel agency office at 8.30 am to drive towards Extremadura region. It will be very soothing and relaxing drive to Trujillo, an important place in Roman Times, but it was the discovery of the new world that brought wealth and immense pride to this excitingly small town. Apart from it, Plaza Mayor is also a ravishing place to visit. We will continue our journey to portuguese soil and Alentejo plains, which has got the fame for it’s traditional polyphonic singing groups.
After that, we will move towards the iconic 25 de Abril Bridge of Lisbon, which connects city of Lisbon to the municipality of Almada. Day 2: Lisbon
After breakfast, begin a morning sightseeing tour of the ancient Olissipo and drive through its main squares and avenues, Belem Tower, Jeronimos Monastery, Monument to the Discoveries, Marquis of Pombal Square, Liberty Avenue and the Alfama quarter. Enjoy a full afternoon and evening of free time. Perhaps visit one of the atmospheric Lisbon cafes for lunch or sightsee independently on foot. Head back to hotel to enjoy dinner and good sleep.
Day 3: Lisbon – Obidos – Alcobaza – Nazare – Batalha – Fátima
Have sumptuous breakfast at Lisbon and move towards northland and reach to Óbidos, which has got the popularity for its picturesque narrow streets, walled fortress, breathtaking castles, charming medieval architecture and the “Pousada do Castelo”, which is known to have a beautiful fusion of 14th century medieval accommodation with ultra modern facilities. It has amazing stone walls, four poster beds with air conditioners, chandeliers and well equipped rooms with internet access.
After that, the journey will take you to Alcobaça, which became notable when the king of portugal made up his mind to build a beautiful church in 12th century, which possesses the Tombs of Dom Pedro and Inés de Castro. This church was later evolved into Alcobaca Monastery, which is known to have wonderful Gothic Monuments.
Grab a chance to enjoy your lunch at Nazaré, this picturesque village has driven its name from the statue of Virgin Mary, brought by Nazare monk in 4th century. It is the most popular fishing village of Portugal with gorgeous beach and amazingly colorful life. You can also stroll through the streets of this beautiful village to visit the holy church, lighthouse and lovely ocean.
If time permits, then you will be taken towards Sitio, which is also a small fishing village with a popular stretch of lovely sandy beach, here we can enjoy the panoramic view of this splendid beach.
After this, we will head towards Batalha Monastery, which was made to commemorate the victory of Portuguese over the Castilians in 1385. It was constructed in wonderfully Gothic and Manueline style. It was also added in World Heritage list by Unesco for having it’s historic significance and National Gothic style, which is dominated by Manueline art.
We will take the travel forward to Fátima, where you will enjoy tasty meal and amazing stay.

Day 4: Fátima – Lisbon
Have sumptuous breakfast at the hotel and get set ready to explore Fatima city on your own.
Fátima has got a fame for having the most sought after Catholic Pilgrimage of Virgin Mary. It is believed that Virgin Mary appeared before the three shepherd children, named as Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco. So here, the catholic christians pay a tribute to these holy figures. You will also get a chance to attend mass and journey in the chapel of Apparitions, which is the heart of sacred shrine. You may also be fortunate to visit the birthplaces of these three children. This place is a world wide famous religious spot for the people of all the religions.
End of the day will bring you to Lisbon. Here, must pay a visit to the magnificent Jeronimos Monastery, which is considered as one of the most alluring places of the world. Belem Tower is also an iconic tourist spot, it is proudly declared as a World Heritage Monument by Unesco. To have the bird eye view of the city, don’t forget to visit Saint George's Castle. Day 5: Lisbon – Cáceres – Córdoba
Enjoy your breakfast and set off for Cáceres at 7.30 am. This city was declared as the World Heritage city by Unesco in 1986 because of having the blend of Roman, Northern, Gothic and Italian Renaissance architecture. Cáceres is known to have splendid old town, which has restored the glory of ancient times by having the medieval walls, lined with palaces and mansions along with the old setting with no traces of modernity. Thirty islamic towers still exist here and out of that Torre del Bujaco is the most popular one. Small shops are quite popular to sell the typical stuff. Convents are known to sell the homemade sweets and amazing pastries. You can get red wine in Extremadura on nominal prices.
Plaza Mayor Square is also an important and one of the largest squares of Spain. It emerged in 12th century and was surrounded by arcades with semicircular arches, which were supported by uniquely designed stone pillars. You can see lovely stately homes, palaces, museums, nature reserves and rural tourism, all at one place.
Journey will be continued towards Córdoba, capital of Caliphate in the past times. Get back to your hotel for soothing ambiance and relaxing night.

Day 6: Córdoba – Seville
Have breakfast and get ready for Córdoba, which was the largest city of Europe. It is still considered as one of the most captivating cities. This place is full of the tourist attraction. Day 7: Seville

It’s a typical work of Muslim art with lot of painted walls and Arabic Inscriptions. Next, you will get a chance to see Generalife Gardens. Day 10: Granada – Toledo – Madrid
Have breakfast at Granada and head towards Toledo. This imperial city has got the fame for having the coexistence of the three different religions, i.e. of Christians, Muslims and Jews. This place has got lots of popularity for having religious tolerance and that’s is reason for these three differently cultured people to live together. Toledo was also declared historic artistic site in 1940 and was honoured by the title of World Heritage in 1987 by Unesco.
Toledo is truly a luxurious place in Spain, so it fetches great tourism. It holds the cultural and monumental heritage of many historic civilisations. It has many amazing sites, like Cathedral of Spain, which is created by Moorish architecture and has great Gothic standards. Similarly, Beatrice of Silva is also an amazing Roman Catholic church to visit.
Toledo is very interesting city, which is renowned for damascene handicrafts and costume jewellery. It’s very creative moorish art in which the artisans inlay gold or silver threads into black steel in wonderfully beautiful patterns. This creativity is used in decorating the earrings, bracelets, large pendants and plates.
Santa María La Blanca is a lovely museum, made for non - islamic purposes. It is known to have the finest work of Almohad architecture. So, it’s considered for its awesome styling and unique construction elements.
Toledo, from air gives a not to be missed view. It shows two beautifully Renaissance buildings, one is town hall and another is Episcopal Palace. On the upper side of Tagus River, you will find Cigarrales, which are considered as old recreational estates of bourgeoisie of Toledo.
