What you can expect
This half-day tour starts from Plaza de España where you will meet your private tour guide and get on comfortable coach to drive in exuberant landscape of Aranjuez. This town’s emblematic landmark is the Royal Palace. Inside the palace, you will be allowed to explore the China Chamber Porcelain in where you can see many displayed antique Chinese porcelains. The Throne of Elizabeth II can also be visited during the tour.
Absolutely, the beauty of Aranjuez inspired the design of the gardens in the complex of Royal Palace. Feel free to take your time and relax in the Prince’s garden, Jardín del Parterre and Jardín del Rey. There, you can find out many varieties of vegetation and tree species. The tour will be continued with a visit to the Museum of Royal Feluccas, This museum exhibits wonderful collection of different types of boats which belonged to the royal members, inter alia: a gondola belonging to Philip V - although the ship actually dates to the reign of Charles II, the boats of Charles IV, Ferdinand VII and Elizabeth II. The former royal family used the boats to sail down the panoramic Tagus River.
After you are fully satisfied observing authentic royal boats and ships displayed, the tour guide take you back to the bus which drives you to Madrid.
