What you can expect
From the meeting point in central Barcelona, we will head to one of centres of Catalan history, from Las Ramblas to Via Laiteana, encircling the Barri Gotic with a multilingual guide to escort you. There, we will pass through the time machine to La Mercè Basilica, Palau de la Generalitat de Catalunya, Carrer de Bisbe Irurita and many more. Still in tribute of historical moment, we will check out the authenticity of the biggest sport event held in the whole wide world. Catalan city still maintains some sites of Olympic sport event in 1992, La Vila Olímpica de Poblenou.
Super-convenient coach will once again drive you to another fabulous attraction spot, Poble Espanyol. You can get lunch in a range of restaurants serving tapas, tradition Spanish cuisine, high-quality local cava and wines. Also, you can buy some original handicrafts as souvenirs. Before leaving, we will go up by cable-car in Montjuïc and see breathtaking view of Barcelona from the sky. In some periods, the cable-car may not operate. Hence, we will alternate this seance with tapas tasting.
And then, on the coach we will pass through Passeig de Grácia to have a short visit at La Pedrera and Casa Batlló. These civil works of Gaudí will definitely be “delicious appetizers” before going to the “main course” of Gaudí’s menu. The unfinished basilica, La Sagrada Familia is a must visit place in Barcelona. This establishment listed in UNESCO World Heritage Site will amaze you, not only from the outside, but especially from western side of Passion Façade. Also, its development hasn’t been finished until now. At last, Park Güell will be “succulent dessert” to close the Gaudí’s art tour. Here you can also find other buildings decorated with ornaments from Art Nouveau and Gothic styles that you see from its mosaics interior design and is declared by UNESCO. Indeed, you can visit Gaudí’s museum here, before finishing the tour.
